Should the New York Times' editor be thrown in jail for treason?

Answers: During a time of war - anyone who sides with the enemy or purposly leaks info should be.
Oh you republicans would love to do that wouldn't you?
No I think you should!
several time over, yes
Why? They usually consider the implication of all stories that might impact national security, and often consult with high level government officials. They often kill stories, or hold on to them out of deference and courtesy as well.
No- no matter what people say- though I think they should inply that they are writing with an opinion, don't you?- unless they threaten the President or something it is legal to have an opinion. That is exactly what this country is built on. What's so funny is the lack of respect for the very system that sustains them....
absolutely. and if it can be proven that he is the direct cause of ANY death of an american, he should be executed in full view of the american people. on broadway maybe....

gee, and i am a republican against the death penalty. whatever is wrong with me?
Yes, of course . . .then we should eliminate the idea of free speach in the US.

Let's also make this a Christian nation and outlaw other religions.

Let's keep Bush on for another 8 years . . a quick new law should allow it.

Then let's invade a few more countries, because they are not God-fearing enough, and let's bring them freedom.

Actually, we're the last superpower - we might as well take over the whole world and make it safe from terrorism . . .
No, ever hear of the 4 freedoms? One of them is freedom of speach
I believe many of the things he does rise to the level of treason. But I think it is a better punishment that he sits by and watches his paper slide down the tubes.
Why not? The republicans in power have infringed or flat out broken every other constitutional protection.
Lol oh that would be a big coup for you fools wouldnt it.
I have a better idea why not completely do away with Constitution and just declare Bush dictator for life. I mean its not like laws were put there to protect anyone.
And hey if the government wasnt doing anything wrong, they wouldnt care if anyone knew what they were doing.
I think anyone who aids or abets our enemy's should be tried for treason , but then we would have to build so many prisons, and how the hell could we feed them all ?r should we?
yeah sure ,why not.Lets get rid of freedom of the press. And freedom of speech while we are at it.
