Who other than me thinks that it is outrageous that none of the presidential frontrunners support gay rights?
Question: I certainly am.
Answers: To be fair, that is why they are frontrunners. I personally agree that gay people should be allowed to marry and serve in the military and so on, but I am in the minority.
Approximately 85% of this country is against allowing gay people any more rights. It may not be fair, but reality is what it is.
I can't honestly believe 85% of the people in this country actually give a crap. I don't, they are people and deserve the same rights as everyone else. It absolutely astounds me that who a person chooses to love should have any bearing on their rights as a person or citizen. Heck, we need all the love and respect for fellow man we can muster right now.
Food for thought - it is NOT gay rights, it is special privileges for gays. A gay person has every, yes EVERY, right as a heterosexual person does.
Special privileges harpies just can't seem to get this.
Gimme a thumbs down to prove to the world that you don't get it, either.
The presidential frontrunners are doing the right thing.
Gays don't need more rights because all of the rights gays are asking for are privilages not rights.
Getting Married is Privilage.
Having Children Is a Privilage.
Living in the nicest Neighborhood in the City you can afford is a privilage.
Having trouble Achieving these things? Guess what, they are not garanteed to anyone. Nor should they be.
Rights are given to us because we are individuals, not because we belong to a specific group. All people deserve the same opportunities and rights simply because they are individuals.
