If Ron Paul doesn't win the republican nomination ?
Question: Can i still vote for him in the main election ? I cant vote for any of these criminal self serving scum bags.
Answers: what do you mean if?? he will not win the nomination.. nor will anyone choose him as a running partner... but yes, to answer your question... you can write him in.. but, i STRONGLY recommend that you do not... he would turn this country into a lockbox. which, we will not be able to sustain indefinitely... as the world around us would crumble and put us in MORE danger than ever before. with social, military, and economic ties with the world over we would not be able to cut ourselves off from the rest of civilization as Paul has essentially suggested.
You can always do a write in so yes.
If your state allows write-in votes, then sure, you could do that.
I think it's pretty clear he will not win the nomination. There's been some speculation that he might run as an independent, or might even form a new third party. If not, you can write him in.
In fact even if he does run you'll have to write him in because the two major parties have jiggered the rules to make it hard for independents and third-party candidates to get on the ballot.
I plan on writing him in. PERIOD.
He has already stated that he WILL NOT run as a third party.
Too bad.. :(
You can always write him in. However, unless he is an officially registered write in candidate, your vote won't be counted in many states.
If? LOL, Okay, let's say if for giggles. You'll have to write him in, and trust me, there's no if involved. If you want to vote for him, bring your trusty pen with you.
Yes.
I highly doubt he will win the republican nomination.. He would make a good anything though he has a lot of great plans for our country I'd like to see in action! Hopefully someone will use him as a running partner.... otherwise I hope they start puttin him on TV more!
Unfortunately, he will not. Yes, you can write him in, but remember; the more that vote for the 3rd party-spoiler candidate, the better chance there is that the even WORSE Democratic party candidate will win.
Raplh Nader running on the Green ticket sucked enough votes off the Dems to cost them the election in the past.
Hell yeah you can. But that doesn't even matter because he WILL win. Despite what the major media tells you, he's got a great chance. Most of those polls that say he's at less than 5%, are made up of people they CHOSE to ask. Look at the straw poll results though, those are great indicators, not swayed by corporations. People who vote in straw polls, are people who chose to go. Those are the same type of people who vote in the primaries.
You've gotten so many complaints about your if question, so let me add one more.
If isn't even an option...
RON PAUL WILL WIN the NOMINATION!!!
RON PAUL MUST WIN the NOMINATION!
You can write his name in or vote for him if he is going to run on the Librarian Party ticket again.
like Ron Paul has a snowballs chance in Hades of getting the Republican nomination *L*
Yes absolutely. You can write him in or he could run as an independent or third party candidate. With his broad base of support through meetups and his financial viability as shown be his fundraising success, Ron Paul is a very viable general election candidate whether or not he gets the republican nomination. We have to remember that running as a republican or a democrat is not a prerequisite to being elected president. This election in OUR chance to show how we feel about the present government. Let's not let party names get in the way of that, rather let's vote for the candidate.
