Why won't Hilliary Clinton answer the tough questions on Social Security?
Question: Once again doing her best from taking a stance on anything. Still amazed how her machine keeps this up. Like it or not Obama stepped up to the plate and gave his solution for solving social security. If you don't like it don't vote for him. But give him credit for taking a stance. Clinton continues to dodge the tough questions because she knows it will expose her for the career politician that flips with polls that she is.
I have voted for both Bill Clinton and George Bush (very disappointed in his performance) and I am undecided at this point in '08. I am just amazed at how she is trying to portray herself as a great leader when she won't answer most questions.

We are living in polarized times. If a candidate clearly states his or her position, about half of the voters will disagree with it. In order to be elected they have to learn to speak without saying anything, and to avoid taking firm stands on anything controversial. For example: Bush promised Comprehensive Immigration Reform. People who were opposed to illegal immigration thought that meant he was going to stop it, people in favor of illegal immigration thought it meant he was going to have an amnesty. Hillary thinks she is so superior that we won't notice that she's not answering any questions. Thanks to Obama for putting her on the spot.

Maybe if Clinton had kept those promises, an estimated 3,000 people in New York and Washington, DC. who are now dead would be alive today.

Yes Clinton - like every other president that ever faced such attacks, promised to hunt then down.
Bush made the exact same speech. He was going to hunt down the man or men responsible for 911. And he named Osama bin Laden as the number one enemy.
Clinton fired a cruise missile at Osama, but missed. Twenty minute late hitting the target.
Bush pulled our crack troops from Tora Bora to redeploy to Iraq. To go after a petty dictator that was no threat to us and had NOTHING to do with 911. In so doing he allowed Osama bin FORGOTTEN to escape. Then he failed to even mention the mans name in public for the next three years.
I don't suppose you even want to discuss the fact that intelligence reports now number the terrorist at three to four times the number they had on 911, thanks in a big way to our invasion of Iraq.
As a people, if we keep quiet and let the politicians play their games, we are the ones who will loose. Most of them are so corrupted; they don't give a hoof about the issues - play to win is their game. They will cheer at boring questions but turn the table around and blame the questioner if he/she asks a direct/tough question. This behavior is not from a true leadership; it smells funny.
Our last defense to this kind of corruption is the Second Amendment but first we need to exercise our First Amendment right and take notice of their BS works.
Please people, we need to wake up! If Bill Gate goes down, he only ruins his enterprise. If our President goes down, their goes everyone. Don't say you don't give a hoof because it will get to you in one form or another.
