What if all presidential candidates joined - - ?

Question: What if all presidential candidates joined together to collectively put in place a new immigration and alien work force bill BEFORE the primary elections? Would this show which candidate would be best suited for the job? Would it show who has the ability to work togther, to bring out the best in peers, show who has the best leadership abilities, and show who has the best interest of the U.S. citizen at heart?
Answers: that would be cool. they could put all their ideas together to make the right one, instead of fighting over one title. that's a good question. i would like to see if it would work.

If they ALL worked together on the issue, it would make that issue moot. It would show that they agreed on the issue and couldn't use it to demonstrate a difference between them and their opponents.
Talk is cheap. All it would do is show who is more willing to blow hot air to get into the oval office.
