Strange, but I can't go a week without thinking about those poor people who died on 9/11? Do you think of them
Question: Americans are easily distracted. I wonder how often the average American thinks about that day?
Answers: The wallpaper on my computer at work is a picture of the firemen raising the flag over the rubble of the WTC, so I think of it daily. I think of how it felt watching in real time as plane # 2 hit the tower, how it felt to see footage of Islamic people dancing in the streets at our loss.
That's most of what changed me from being a middle of the road conservative to being a far right winger.
I think about that day all the time. I wish those images were on TV everyday. People forget too easily.
Every day for me. I think of them constantly. I try to keep that wound as fresh as possible. That's why I have a photo album full of news clippings from that time, and I look through it whenever I think that the pain is fading.
I've had people not be able to finish looking at the album because it's too painful...but I force myself to look.
i think about it all the time. watching the news that day, and seeing it callapse.. i remember i was in school, and they had the TV on in the office.. the teachers wouldn't tell us what was going on, but we could read the breaking news and saw the towers on fire. it was a sad day.
Daily here. My wife and my mother and aunt were all touring the White House on the morning of Sept 11, 2001. I nearly lost them all when Bin Laden and crew decided to attack non-combatant civilians to make a point. Less than men, worse than cowards.
Never forget, never forgive.

A FIGHT ENDS WHEN THE BELL RINGS AND SO FAR WE HAVE NO REFEREE IN THE RING .
SO WE NEED TO GET OUT .CAUSE THE RING IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE DUMBA$$.
I work less than a mile from The Pentagon, and have been doing so since 1999, so I was very close when the plane hit on 9/11. I drive past the Pentagon twice a day, and not a day goes by that I don't think about it 9/11.
However, a lot of people, even those in Virginia and DC have already gotten distracted, and have forgotten why we need to get rid of the terrorists. It is sad.
Yes, I do. I think Every time I get in my car. I better put my seat belt on.. There's a reason for everything and I feel so bad for all the families of people who lost their lives... I wish I could bring them all back, but I can't... Memories keep this world going not present activities!
WiseVibes, yes, I too think of them from time to time. I purchased a book by Easton Press called One Nation
America Remembers September 11,2001.
I even wrote a poem.
September 11, 2001
Emergency in America
911 our emergency number
On 9-11 our world came asunder
We lost oh, so many and only a few survived
We'll never forget you and the day you died
With our pictures we'll grieve and we'll cry
One day at a time we'll say our goodbyes
America as we know it will never be the same
The World as we know it has forever been changed
But Freedom we still have
They'll never take that away
Freedom we still have
When we see Old Glory every day
No! They have been used enough for various agendas. I let them rest in peace.
Not a day goes by but...
As a New Yorker and someone who was there that day, I still have nightmares of the people that had to jump out of the burning buildings. What really bothers me is the inconsistencies and unanswered questions that our government is side stepping.
I hate what I am finding and the conclusions they are guiding me to. Ironically the last photograph I shot in Manhattan was that of the WTC...I cherish that picture a great deal, although it breaks my heart to look at it sometimes.
If you realized that what you believe in isn't real - would you change to the reality or would you stick with what you believe?
