America, the "Noah's Ark" of countries, Do you know of any COUNTRIES who haven't migrated to the USA??

Question: It just seems that America being refered to as the melting pot should be renamed the noah's arc of countries, It seems that no matter what country people are from there is at least 2 of each residing in the US,
Answers: is there any country in the world without immigrants? don't forget that the US is called a melting pot because europeans stole it from the native populations and then - through slavery - filled it with africans..
Consider that America was the last great new frontier ...England, Spain, France, Romans and all the other civilized tribes before them were able to explore their continents, and the ones adjacent to them fairly rapidly as they are all land-locked.

Discovery of the North and South American continents came much later on once the world advanced further than triremes for sailing the seas.

As for migration strategies......the original inhabitants, the North American Indians are said to be indigenous. The first batch of immigrants from Europe were religious refugees, then came the slaves, then came the immigrants .

While I would say, no, there are no unrepresented groups in America, I don't know if its necessarily something to be proud of - we were just the right country being born at the right time.

Your analysis of Noah's Arc is appropriate, however, I think melting pot describes it best as immigrants from all countries were never placed on the same boat to avoid extinction and brought happily to the North American continent.

Additionally, melting pot is something I can physically see - put a pot on the stove, through a bunch of ingredients in there and watch it simmer.....Noah's Arc is a fictional, if not mythical, concept brought forth as a parable in a great work of fiction, the bible.
no i can't think of one.
the Vatican maybe?
