Cities give free trees for the sidwalk and the street area, how do we get all who are eligible to get thiers.?

Question: Why dosn't the city let people know this either.
Answers: send your neighbor a letter and encourage them to get their free tree ,Tell them how much of a difference they will make in this world.
Google free tree planting and your city. Lots of info.
Remember cities often own the sidewalk or at least the street area....there is a combined authority some times between property owner and local government to making it clean, neat, and orderly. The trees may not be given to the sidewalk and street are by the city; they may be required and thus provided for by the city.

You can get yours through many places; but I'd start at city hall and if that doesn't work go to the search box above on this screen and type in free trees
When I lived in Pasadena California, we had a monthly city newsletter. Currently I live on a county property so I don't know if the nearby city does the same thing. If yours doesn't have one, call and ask them why not... Maybe they'll start something to inform people around the area of issues important to the city dwellers.

BTW it never ceases to amaze me that people go on YAHOO answers and recommend GOOGLE heh.. why not just use Yahoo? ;)
